I have been in love with taking photographs since childhood. The joy and reward I get remains undiminished having worked professionally now for over 20 years.
After graduating from Bristol University, I studied photography at The London College of Communication but learnt the most from assisting renowned photographers who were generous with their time and experience. Watching them in action was the best training I could have wished for.
I love to work with natural light and on location. I feel this creates a more relaxed environment and a comfortable subject. My aim is always to capture the energy of the moment and the light in the eyes.
Having grown up and worked in London for many years I am now based in Hampshire with my family but I love to travel and work takes me all over the UK and occasionally beyond.

I am as comfortable shooting garden parties at Buckingham Palace as I am capturing a child’s first steps.
